WISE programs were developed by NYU School of Medicine with contributions from physicians across multiple medical disciplines including members from the Association for Surgical Education and American College of Surgeons.

Currently, two WISE programs are available, WISE-MD for 3rd year surgery clerkships and WISE-OnCall for preparing medical students and junior residents for the responsibilities of residency.

Aqufier distributes WISE-MD and WISE-OnCall on behalf of NYU School of Medicine to undergraduate medical schools, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner programs.
