User Terms and Conditions

This site is owned and operated by Fitzroy Emu LLC (“Emu”), a New York Limited Liability Company with a principal place of business at 655 Third Ave, New York. The site was designed to give transitioning medical students and junior residents access to simulated medical conditions to prepare them to manage patients based on presenting symptoms and physical findings. Emu respects the privacy and security of its users. Our Privacy Policy tells you what personal information we have, how we get it, what we do with it and with whom we share it. We do this so that you know what happens with your personal information and you can compare our way of dealing with privacy against what other organizations do. Except as otherwise disclosed in the Privacy Policy below, Emu will not disclose any of your information to external individuals or organizations.

All content on the WISE-OnCall site are and remain the copyrighted materials of Emu and/or its licensors and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the copyright holder. In no event can any users remove any copyright notices from the Content, grant electronic access to any person other than themselves through the WISE-OnCall site. Any use of the Content not expressly permitted by this agreement is a breach hereof and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. Content on the WISE-OnCall site are subject to change or termination without notice in the editorial discretion of Emu. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved to Emu and its licensors.

Emu collects information from and about its users in three ways:

1. Directly from the user – we collect your personal information that you provide to us. We use this information to provide online learning and technical support to you. Any questions, forum posts are other information you enter into the site will also be collected and recorded for educational purposes.


2. Web server logs – when visiting the site, we track the following information to help us better administer the site and its content: your IP address, Internet Service Provider, browser type, your state and/or country, date & time of visit, which link you followed to reach the site, which pages you viewed, which links you clicked, and how long you spent on each.


3. Cookies – our sites uses cookies (small text files that are placed on your hard drive by our servers) to save your preferences and login information. If you do not wish to permit cookies, you can disable them in your browser’s settings.

Please be aware that any public chat rooms, forums, message boards and news groups on the site are public, and the user should be careful when sharing personal information. Never share your private personal information, including financial information, on a public forum.

The Emu site may contain links to external sites. While we do our best to ensure the security of links to other sites, we are not responsible for the security, privacy and content of these sites. You should exercise caution and read their privacy policy when accessing these sites.

Emu uses industry-standard technical security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of all information we control.
